An American veteran speaks his mind in regards to "serving his country". There is a reason why mandatory registration for selective service is still a reality. A call to our mothers, sisters and ALL women to stand against all mandatory (male) registration.

Yaknow, I completely agree that there's wasteful military spending (the second fighter plane engine made by GE comes to mind). I also wasn't for the war in Iraq. The justifications for it didn't make sense... but what this guy is saying makes even less.

He's spewing huge amounts of propaganda about racism, and companies being the enemy, because they do X when it is profitable.

Yaknow what happens to a company that doesn't control costs and make a profit? Either the company bribes a government official for a back door bail-out, or it goes out of business.

He's right that the mortgage crisis didn't need to happen, but it happened due to the huge amount of government pressure put on banks to give loans to people who didn't qualify, and come up with tricks to make them qualify.

When those people, who should have kept renting instead of buying a house, couldn't keep meeting their payments, it became a part of a larger cascade effect that caused others who shouldn't have got loans to default as well.

None of that had anything to do with the wars.

Never mind, of course, the wars Obama has gotten us into. Is he a racist against Africans and middle-easterners too?

I entirely agree that we should get rid of the draft.

If you can't keep the nation safe with arms training provided to the citizenry a few times per year to let the volunteer militia guard the home front in case of invasion, because not enough people volunteer, the nation probably isn't good enough to keep anyway.

But this video doesn't even remotely make a convincing case for it.
