Forget the sentencing.

Forget the gender issue.

Look at the reality of this guys's life.

Sooner or later, this woman is going to kill him. It won't be very long, she's already armed, armoured and extremely dangerous. He doesn't have to do or say anything, she's been ramping towards it for years.

And the police and courts are not going to protect him. They are going to stand by and let it happen, even though they KNOW that it is inevitable at this point.

Frankly I see no option for him but to ask a good friend to dig a hole in a secluded spot and to make a discreet trip to a DIY store for a large tarpaulin and plenty of duck tape. It's that or a mention on the news, and not the sports section this time.
