I think this is probably the primary reason so many people on this sub express animosity towards Feminists and Feminism. It's not necessarily that we blame Feminists for the problems men face (though in some cases we rightfully do), it's more that Feminists repeatedly deny these problems exist, or make absurd arguments that all sexism against men is really just sexism against women.

I actually would be much more sympathetic to feminists if they showed some empathy and humility themselves.

One thing I respect about the men's movement is it's willingness to concede it's tough all over ... even if it's often with a sneer of schadenfreude when it comes to typical women's miseries.

Hypocrisy is a form of dishonesty. Hypocrites are also willing to lie, so they are least likely of all to admit hypocrisy.

It's like asking a thief or murderer to confess. Why would they? They have committed the crimes with the intention of getting away with it. Confessing would prevent them from achieving that goal.

You sound like an honest person who does not understand dishonesty. You cannot simply ask a dishonest person to admit when he (or she) is being dishonest.

If I can admit women face problems, and that life isn't fair to anyone, why can't they?

What's with the white male hate? That translates into all men when convenient. And you ever notice, white women (mostly feminists) shun the white label so they can hide behind black?

It would be nice if there was at least some partial cog that men and women aren't enemies, and that most problems are economic in nature. But then, pigs will fly at that point, and feminists will say it's because they are naturally better then men.

I relate to what you are saying, not just about gender relations but life in general. If someone wants to gain some advantage over me or push hard for their self interests even if it comes at my expense, that is one thing. But, to play head games and lie to my face about it even when what they are doing is obvious, that just insults my intelligence and is REALLY disrespectful.

At least fascist-acting people and groups are pushy and mean to your face. The totalitarian types, to me, are worse. They´re like the pigs in Animal Farm. They´re the kinds that like to toy with your mind and send you for re-education or "sensitivity training", etc... Feminists are definitely people of the totalitarian variety. Feminists will say they don´t want "quotas", only "targets". They´ll redefine words like harassment or rape to suit an agenda. They´ll ask for policies and laws that make men second-class citizens and call it doublespeak terms like "substantive equality." They´re creepy.

I'd take it one step further: discrimination against men is almost always framed as something positive and beneficial to society. It is never actually identified as discrimination, but as "equality" or "protecting children" or "protecting women" or some such feel-good sentiment. We are conditioned to believe that discrimination against men is acceptable and necessary in society.
