When I split from my ex, my lawyer advised me to expect abuse claims in front of the judge and falsified AVO's (Restraining orders in Australia). She was right. This is no different. She doesn't actually have to prove anything happened. Judges err on the side of caution thinking that "nothing probably happened but I don't want to be the one to blame if something actually does". By doing so, she will also use this in the custody battle to extort little-to-no time with the kids as well as a massive alimony. Guilty without ever having a say.

Frankly, unless she has the wherewithal to doctor the email correspondence they've had, I would say that the evidence is on her side here, not on Jack White's.

Let's not suggest that every abuse claim is frivolous.

(Plus, unless you haven't already noticed, musicians are kind of nuts to begin with, males AND females.)

honestly, i wouldnt be surprised.

all the stories i've heard about him are how much of a dick he is and how he can get REALLY mean to people around him.

also i saw him live at radio city, one of the worst shows ive ever seen.

Go listen to Freedom at 21 and You Don't Know What Love Is. Both of them reflect a lot of the sentiment that I have heard on this sub.

That said, I don't really know him. He is a really private person. While I idolize him musically, he could be a raging asshat but I am willing to bet otherwise.
