The idea that men are these uncontrollable sex animals is so insulting. Every single time someone says shit like "well what was she wearing," about a rape victim as if clothing takes away our self control, I get so angry.

Meh. Not a terrible article. It does miss a lot, and fuck the good men project.

Here's what I think; Social ideas about male sexuality will change when women allow men a broader definition of it and when women choose to allow for it in their perception. As it stands, over the past 60 or 70 years, women have been allowed a broadening definition and role in sexuality while men's has been narrowed. It's the result of compartmentalization and the virgin/whore complex that women place on themselves and on men. Women are the gatekeepers of sexuality, so the power to change how the land beyond that gate is perceived is in their hands, not men's.

The article is associated with The Good Men Project, which is usually a red flag, but this one is spot on.

Saw this on the Facebook friend of an acquaintance of mine who is a young woman. Made it all the sweeter. Gives me hope that some of "our" ideas are catching on.

Feminsist propaganda spouting the same old drivel about "Patriarchy" and "male privilege" and disregarding female rapists? No, thanks.

Male sexuality is considered as dangerous and filthy because feminists have worked for decades to make sure it is, creating false and biased statistics and holding manifestations to instill this idea.
