What’s wrong with men having equal custody so they can avoid child support?

Decent concept, but in the end doesn't really help. My buddy got equal custody. They trade weeks. He still pays child support. She is working, but because he makes more, he still has to pay child support. The sad part is that he also pays for both for all of his daughters activities, like dance and all that. None of that counts as child support. Equal custody is important so that men can spend time with their kids, but won't change the financial burdens.

It would be immoral. The big thing is, this doesn't actually happen very often in the real world -- probably less often than those false rape accusations feminists claim to be so uncommon as to be irrelevant.

Most men love their children. The overwhelming majority of men simply want to spend time with them. Of those that don't, the majority of bad fathers would rather just write a check than deal with their kids. Only a vanishingly small amount both hate their children, but are greedy enough to want greater custody just to avoid their responsibilities.

The problem is, this is a heaping pile of man-hating BS that feminists spew in order to justify a bigotted family court system. This simply doesn't happen outside of the fevered fantasies of feminists. That anyone takes it seriously is a sign of just how misandric this society actually is, that they would be so easily convinced that males lack parental instincts.

Supposedly, psychologists say 50/50 custody is psychologically harmful to the child and creates attachment disorders or something. I view that with a great deal of suspicion given that most of the people I've known from divorced families had most of their psychological problems from being forced to spend all their time with a psychotic vindictive mother.

This arrangement can and does happen in the real world often, at least for me anecdotally. I have several friends with this arrangement.

It was only possible in the absence of the state and with the agreement of compromise from the mother.

Folks, so-called "child" support is just a replacement for husband support. It was, and still is, a response to men going their own way and not supporting women. "Child" support has never had anything to do with the best interest of children, unless you think women are children. It's just a way to take money from men and give it to women. That is the purpose of our entire so-called "family" court system.

So, to the question at hand, of course there is nothing wrong with trying to avoid "child" support. Let's call it what it is - "child" support is state-sanctioned theft. In what poor excuse of a world do we live in if trying to keep a thief at bay is wrong?

equal custody here and i still pay support too. theres a bit more involved, specifically incomes of parents, or at least in my state.
