I certainly should have. I was all of 17 and my female supervisors at a hospital would just say some of the grossest things to me and about me. But I was just a kid, I didn't know why I felt so uncomfortable. I just did.

How can a man of your size be harassed by a "little woman"?
Pretty damned easy when she determines if you get to keep your job or not...

Anyway, know them feels. There was a store I worked at over 10 years ago where the store manager did not like men and it showed. If you were male and she didn't like you, you got transferred to registers and was constantly berated for things the girls were getting away with left and right. I don't think I ever saw a guy last more than a month after being punted to registers.

I was harassed by a real piece of trash where I worked. I was in charge of training her. The entire time I trained her I was professional just doing my job, and where I worked women were very promiscuous, I however am not a cheater so I wouldn't take any of them up on their offers. Back to the gal I was training, she assumed I was gay because I wouldn't flirt or talk about how certain employees worked and would start referring to me as "the dirty faggot" she would tell me that, she would go talk to co-workers about how I was a "fag" and on and on. I got fed up with it and reported it to the General Manager, HR really couldn't care less about it. They moved her to another area and was filmed stealing from them and eventually fired. Anyway because she kept calling me a fag they decided to file it under sexual harassment.

My old manager at a place I worked maintenance/landscaping at used to interject the most vile sexual references and anecdotes from her past into our conversations. It was not welcome and made it a very uncomfortable workplace.

Take into account we're talking maintenance/landscaping work; it's not like we were prudes or anything. But we knew how to keep it classy, the most we said in front of higher-ups and customers was "that's what she said". This lady took it too far and was a bit sexist in a few other areas too.

Didn't need to "go after" her because she got fired not long after being hired.

My brother has (not like yours though). Long story short, rather than fix the issue with the woman harassing, the company offered my brother a small severance deal in exchange for not suing them. He took it and got a new job. The actual story is pretty complicated.

As for you OP, do two things:

Begin looking for other jobs, as a back up.
Let HR know that "if the Human Resources department does not take action to resolve this issue, I am have to seek legal consul."

Remember: HR exists to protect the company, not the employees and definitely not you. Nothing gets them moving like the thought of trouble for the company.
