Should I live alone in a lower standard studio apartment, or with my friend (separate bedrooms) in a higher standard apartment?

I can't tell without pictures but nothing beats living alone, unless the studio is a complete shithole. Even if it's just average looking then I'll definitely choose it over any shared high standard apartment.

I would much rather live on my own even if the apartment isn't fancy. When you live with people, even friends, you have to compromise. When you live by yourself, you get to do any goddamn thing you want.

Keep it clean and decorate it like an adult. Don't be afraid to be alone. That's when you find out who you really are.

Depends on three things :

1) how far away are the bedrooms

2) how cool/nosy is the roomate

3) how much getting reminded of your grandmother will affect your sex life

Depends on who your room mate is, I'd say. I'm in a situation where I used to be a lazy undisciplined fuck, but have become a lot more disciplined recently. But even if I would keep my shit 100% clean, the apartment would be two thirds shithole because my room mates are just like how I used to be. Needless to say, I can't wait to get my own tiny apartment when I move next summer.

So basically, having a roommate, or even multiples of them, can be great economically. I live in a pretty large apartment and only pay about €250/month for rent+electricity+internet, because we're splitting it. But if you're going to have room mates, make sure they won't be a huge negative in your life. Your home is supposed to be your sanctuary, and a sanctuary full of dust, beer bottles and dirty laundry is pretty shitty.

Unless there are particular circumstances like living in a real live shithole, my advice is living by yourself.

I’d live with you’re friend for now and use that extra 400pln to invest in improving yourself in life. You seem relatively young still.

Go cheap. Living alone is not so bad. Get a cat. Having your own place is the best option.
