There has been a big anti-patriarchy protest in Slovenia for the past few days. I've watched hours worth of clips/posts on this and am still unable to figure out what exactly do they even want. They carry signs saying "Death to patriarchy", "My body my choice" etc... And they keep complaining about how terrible femicide is, even though it only happened 14 times in the last 2 years.

I don't understand how Slovenia is even a patriarchy?

  • Almost half of politicians in the country are women
  • The president of Slovenia is a woman
  • Laws benefit women over men in many areas (easier work conditions for women, more paid vacation, free unlimited abortions, harming/murdering a woman legally has harsher penalties, war laws, education...)

I can't comprehend what more can they even want!?
