I am not a fan of social medias for many reasons but I acknowledge the potential they possess (huge broadcast medium).

I only keep fb messenger to keep in touch with people but lately I have had many social intercourses where me not having social media was a wow factor and awarness that it is so wide spread across my generation.

My two main "concerns" are:

Missing out on things: mostly regarding women, the logistics are pretty good regarding snapchat(instant messaging).Instagram as "look&status portfolio" so people can connect with you in instant.

Losing people: I get to meet many new people because of my dynamic schedule and it mostly lasts for 2 to 3 meet ups unless we get to meet on a weekly basics, so I think it can be benefical for keeping connections.

Now, I know these don't come close to real life impressions and connections but because of the broad usage it has left me wondering if I am missing out on it?

Anyone that can give insight to this? Also, I apologize if this has been asked before.
