Agg assault with intent not to kill yet she told police she wanted to run him over and kill him 🤔

Exactly

"Davis told officers she wanted to run the man over and wanted him to die"

"Davis is facing a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill"

Straight up doesn't work.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

...semantically, those could be considered two different things. She wanted to run him over but not kill him; and she also wanted him to die of natural causes at an old age.

Even still... them bitches be crazy.

[–]sicknick 15 points16 points17 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Not to mention misdemeanor vandalism for egging my mans house. That shit sucks.

Davis said the man ruined her relationship with her daughter after he told her of the affair.

No bitch you ruined your relationship when you started fucking her husband.

You don't understand, he was asking for it and she couldn't say no.

Hey now, give them some credit. If there's one thing that women can do better than men, it's crash cars into things. Look at Chris Jenner... Perfect driving record, then he had a sex change and BOOM! He hit someone.

This isn't PPD the police witnessed her trying to commit murder, which she then admitted to. This was a premeditated act. If this was a guy they would throw him under the jail. She was released on bail of $3000. They basically let a admitted psychopath out of jail to try and kill the guy again.

[–]Aarondhp24 31 points32 points33 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Davis is facing a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and was released from the Palm Beach County Jail on Sept. 22 after posting a $3,000 bond.

Davis told officers she wanted to run the man over and wanted him to die.

Unfucking believable.

[–]whatonearth012 20 points21 points22 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

To put this into context I got into a fist fight at a party when I was 19 years old during spring break. When the police arrived the guys friends said I had a weapon. I did not have one nor was one EVER found. $10,000 bond ($100,000) to get out of jail and then spend the next 3 years fighting the charge.

Pussypass denied my ass she admitted to ATTEMPTED MURDER to police officers.

[–]Aarondhp24 21 points22 points23 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Oh I get it friendo. I got charged with 12 felonies when a highschool aged fan/friend told her friends we were dating. Literally, zero evidence to support that claim.

$100K bond, 1.5 years fighting the case.

Bonus points: I got discharged from the military after I plead no contest to, get this, false imprisonment. I ended up taking some parenting classes (I have no kids) and in April 2015, I got all the charges overturned.

Spotless criminal history again, but the military won't let me back in, and I don't get my G.I. bill. Our justice system is fucked beyond repair. Zero due process anymore.

I think the mother ruined the relationship with the daughter when she fucked her son in law.

[–]keltsbeard 42 points43 points44 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

$3,000 bond? what a joke. she's not gonna end up getting shit probly, too early for pussy pass denied. She admitted her aim was to try and kill him running him over. Roles reversed this would probably be $300k bail.

http://www.who.int/mental_health/prevention/genderwomen/en/

[–]Egren -3 points-2 points-1 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Thank you for the link. It's interesting but hard to draw conclusions from the data. I didn't take much more than "it's different for men and women" from it. Some things hitting women harder and some hitting men harder. I feel like you could draw opposite conclusions based just on how you look at the data or how you define inexact terms. There always comes the question of reported vs real world numbers, depending on their sample. Did they look at randomly selected women of the whole? Randomly selected women who contact doctors for any issue, or just women who seek help specifically with mental health issues?

"women are more prone to mental illness" could mean "more women in absolute numbers are diagnosed", or "a larger fraction of the women asking for help are diagnosed", or even, but that would be a stretch "of the people diagnosed, women suffer more from the symptoms than men with the same diagnosis".

[–]uberduger 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I looked at length yesterday but couldn't find any studies that mentioned how they'd accounted for the difference in how often men and women report their mental illness.

Because I honestly think that most of the difference in the perceived levels of mental illness is that men (and I say this as a man) are really bad at admitting they've got anything wrong, mental or physical. It's a known thing amongst doctors that men will tend to wait until a problem gets bad before they go seek medical attention.

I have no proof of it, but I'd wager that most, if not all, of the difference in reported mental health concerns between the genders, is simply because men often won't seek help, whereas women will be better at admitting they have a problem.

[–]Egren 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'm convinced there are differences. We have different interests, different strengths, our bodies and brains work differently, so I think it is safe to assume that different mental illnesses aren't as prevalent and/or severe in one sex or the other. But granted how the data from that article was pointing in both directions at once, I think the conclusion that it hits women harder on average (or median??) requires more explaining to be useful other than as a muddled approximation that you can interpret any way you want.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No, women are in general less stable and les able to deal with high stress levels. One thing about male mental illness is that men have a much higher suicide rate, so it seems to be another area where men are more successful, even at something with a negative outcome. Also, it's not am accident that it's difficult to find raw numbers on gender specificity. If you look at older studies you have a better chance of there being gender data. Lately there is a trend to hide gender data (thanks sjw's). At some point colleges decided thru better start trying to hide gender differences as to not hurt womens feelings. Which should probably be a good indicator of who is more mentally fit.

The man told police he was nearly hit by Davis’ vehicle multiple times. Davis told officers she wanted to run the man over and wanted him to die.

Davis is facing a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and was released from the Palm Beach County Jail on Sept. 22 after posting a $3,000 bond.

She tried running him over with a car and told police that she wanted him to die but yet she is charged with assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill then released from jail. What am I missing?

I don't understand why they have to bring the car's make into this. A car's make has no business in journalism like this, except to add more fire to the car wars.

Cost of bail for someone arrested after police witness and have a confession of someone trying to kill another human being with a car: $3000

Cost of my bail after being found with my legally prescribed ADHD medicine in a bottle of legally prescribed antibiotics after a bad root canal: $10,100

I normally carry one adderall in an old bottle to take before lunch and since I had to take antibiotics after a dental procedure I just decided to just put my lunch time adderall in the bottle with my antibiotics. I got rear-ended while turning into a local restaurant and the police saw the bottle in my cup holder.

So, apparently, attempting to consolidate daily medication is 3 times more heinous than attempting to kill someone with your car.

The case was thrown out (several thousand dollars later.)
