As odious as it sounds, make arrangements to always have someone (a woman) with you when your daughter is there with you. it's basically the Pence rule. At least until the issue of custody is resolved.

The more things change the more they stay the same: this mass hysteria around accusing men of criminal activity reminds me of what I have heard about the Salem witch trials accusing people of witchcraft based on the merest suspicion or interpretation of unholy practices or behaviour.

In this case, society idolises women and children so much, that the merest suspicion or fantasy of practices or behaviour against them is enough to trigger lynch mob behaviour: it's almost religious hysteria all over again, but this time as a deliberate, premeditated means to an end.

How was the OP told about the Mother contemplating an accusation, because that sounds like a veiled threat/coercion and could be useful evidence to provide to a lawyer.

Trying to trigger panic and emotional response in another person is a way that women get their victim to indict themselves by goading a response that is more societally unacceptable than the goading and thus criminalising the intended victim: it's a form of entrapment. It's interesting that men fall into the trap because it is women that tend to respond emotionally whilst men are better able to moderate their response with reason, assuming they analyse everything for risk.

I believe womens attempts to get men to be more vulnerable and emotional are simply a cover for reducing mens reason in order to better entrap them, especially when they say they want men to open up and when men do they villify them as weak.

Good advice all around. Get a lawyer yesterday, don't talk to this woman. And NEVER talk to the police. Hit up YouTube for advice on how to plead the 5th legally.

Also, I would ask your lawyer if it's actually safe to be around your daughter if you wife is thinking of making those accusations. You never know, next time you hand her over to your stbxw she can go straight to the police and say whatever.
