Fucking bullshit. We have dress codes because we want girls and boys to dress in a respectable and appropriate way. People cannot help being uncomfortable or distracted by students of both genders wearing next to nothing.

If the teachers were dressing the same, people would be very quick to complain.

This is basically an attempt at manipulation and shaming to allow girls to not have to follow any rules.

Some people just have no standards and can't stand to have to follow rules. It's pathetic that adults support this shit. People should have more important things to worry about.

The school’s admin is protecting other children who may not yet be sexual from her expressing her burgeoning sexuality and they are preventing fashion bullying of the girls who don’t want to dress that way at school.

I wish these people would stop pretending that girls don’t want to be sexually desirable like boys do and that girls don’t know what it takes to attract sexual attention from boys.

You never seem to have these wardrobe malfunctions when mom and dad were picking outfits for their daughter to wear.

But yes, let’s blame boys instead of telling little miss purity to knock it off because we know what she’s doing when she wears her hot pants.

You get to go to school and get an education. To do this you must follow the school's rules, one of them being the fucking dress code. Guess what if you don't follow the dress code, you have to change. That works for both genders.

Maybe it's because I was in school when those tank tops with the sleeve holes ripped way down the sides were "in", but I've seen WAY more boys forced to change due to dress codes than girls...

Why is everyone suddenly so fond of "dress codes"?

Fuck dress codes. I remember when teachers would check girls' skirts with measuring tapes in school in order to see if they have violated the sacred "dress code". Fuck that ass-backwards conservative bullshit. Girls should dress however the fuck they want. Self-expression through appearance is covered by freedom of speech. School isn't a workplace, it's where children spend most of their lives and where they socialize. It's important for them to be able to express themselves. Creating bullshit barriers for them only causes needless teenage rebellion.

If you've gone to the point where you hate feminism so much that you side with authoritarian garbage that dictates how people should dress, then you really need to sit down and think about your partisan mentality.

What's next? Handing out burqas to little girls?

i agree and don't agree. when you said teach boys that girls aren't sex objects then i understand. dress appropriately and not sexually because that's when boys take you as sexual material. it makes them think you want sexual attention. even boys follow dress code. don't wear your pants down looking like a gangster. but if the girl isn't following dress code like everyone else in school then that's her problem. Also when you said girls come for education not dressing up then just follow the code unless your trying to make a fashion show out of it.
