I’ve always been an egalitarian and for equality, so I used to identify myself as a feminist because of the whole misconception about only feminists being for equal rights. I then watched the Red Pill and did a lot of research and found about the inequalities for men, custody battle stuff, jail sentences, false rape accusations etc. and started calling myself a MRA, seeing the movement as a small and righteous cause that is often ignored, as opposed to the right wing and incel filled view other people have of it. I grew up in a liberal family and my mom ended up with 100% custody and I don’t get to see my dad often, who is a great person. So I do have a personal investment in this movement if you want to call it that. But honestly this sub seems a bit quirky to me. It’s been my understanding that occasionally hateful people trickle into the Men’s Rights Movement (did something with that happen to r/TheRedPill? Idk) but honestly I’ve been seeing a lot of silly posts and really petty complaints about society(I’ll update this post with some links if I can find some.) I’ll update this post and elaborate

TL:DR I’m for equal rights, know about the inequalities for men and am not sure about the content of this sub
