It's been said here before, but I firmly believe that the education system is rigged in favor of girls. Well, at least up to and including high school.

That was my experience, but things were far more equal at university in my STEM major. I went to a large university, so you essentially become your student number.

Well all the evidence I have seen has shown that men and women's IQ average falls at more or less the same point. I would not be surprised that this is some gender studies type research that carefully works the sampling out to get the result they want. Now there has been a fair bit of evidence shown that the school system does help girls with an emphasis on course work and the LSE report that showed teachers tending to give girls higher marks for the same level of work. Notice in the UK with A levels becoming more and more exam based the number of boys passing with good grades increasing and the disparity between the sexes shrinking. The moment you get 51% or more boys passing in any subject the articles will flow about the sexism inherent in the system holding poor innocent girls back.

Does he know that boys doing worse than females is a new thing? Harder to attribute it to biology when it’s only come about in the last 20 years.

Of course feminists would claim the change is a result of past sexism against females being partially removed so that women can approach their true potential.

Kids as young as 4 now "know" that girls are better than boys. It's how kids are raised these days. They pick up on the anti-male sexism pretty early.

Depends what you mean by "smart". If it has to do with logic, consistency, reasoning, abstract thinking etc. boys are definitely smarter.

Read The Bell Curve. Men and women have the same average IQ, but men's IQ is on a wider, flatter distribution, meaning that men tend to have a lot more geniuses and morons. Women tend to cluster around 100IQ.

That's one reason why most geniuses, composers, surgeons, etc. are male... and so are the majority of felons, thugs, trash men and janitors.

I have the same problem with thst. If course, it isn't true. Women and men are as smart as each other. Men have more geniuses, but they have more idiots too. For every Albert Einstein, there's one darwin award winner. For one Marie Curie, there's one darwin award winner.

I'm honestly at the point now with this bullshit where if I ever encountered any of these pricks in real life I'd buy them a computer and tell them to build it if they're smarter than I am. If you guys encounter these people call them out on their crap. Whatever your specialisation or job is I see nothing wrong with making them look like fools very publicly considering that's exactly what they're trying to do with men.

In reality men have slightly higher IQ on average. It's only a couple points though. The reason it was common knowledge in the past is that there are far more men on the fringes, both high and low. That means there are far more men at extremely high IQ, and extremely low IQ. So when you look at a representative group of people on the extreme high end it is almost exclusively men, but you have the same on the low end as well.

LOL! If anything, men have an average IQ a few points higher than women's. What's really interesting about this is that it suggests that one of the goals of rigging the school system against boys is to make boys feel inferior and therefore more willing to do what the girls tell them.

Since nobody else has mentioned it, let's not forget that the LSE, MIT, OECD, and some French university that does not have a convenient acronym have all done studies showing that boys get lower marks for the same quality of work.
