I'd never heard of Dominic Raab before, but when I saw that he'd triggered the odious feminists at the Guardian I figured I should check him out.

Wow, he's got quite a history of speaking blunt truths about feminism and men's rights! There are some absolute gems here:

This week two Sky Sports pundits were rightly taken to task for sexist comments about a female linesman. But, when I pointed out that some feminists routinely make sexist comments about men – and that equality cuts both ways – I was rounded on by Harriet Harman. This is the same champion of Labour’s Equality and Diversity agenda who believes that 'men cannot be left to run things on their own’ and hints tantalisingly that the collapse of Lehman Brothers might have been averted had it been 'Lehman Sisters’.

Harman has been consumed by the prejudice she seeks to purge. This kind of subtle, but insidious, bigotry is no worse than the cruder comments made by Andy Gray (for which he has been sacked), and a lot more hypocritical coming from the self-styled champion of equality.

Earlier this week I wrote that from cradle to grave, men are getting a raw deal. Men work longer hours, die earlier, but retire later than women. I also noted that while some say we should be less precious about light-hearted banter between the sexes, you can’t have it both ways. If sexism is wrong, the same standards apply to men and women. On the other hand, if you buy into the whole Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus theory of gender difference – with all its pseudo science - you can’t complain about inequalities of outcome that flow both ways from those essentially sexist distinctions.

Overall pay gap peaks when women hit their forties. The data suggests the residual pay gap largely reflects the choice of women, who decide to stay home when they have children, rather than endemic sexism.

The (male) journalist asked what right I had to debate the issue as a white middle class man. This is ludicrous. Aside from the fact that I am elected to represent all my constituents – irrespective of race, gender or religious belief – since when did we segregate public debate according to social criteria?

Pay is just one element of the employment bargain. The data also shows that, overall, men work longer hours, commute further, have a greater risk of redundancy and derive less job satisfaction. Still sound like women are getting short-changed?

And, while we are on the subject, what about the blatant discrimination against men? Men work longer in life, die earlier – yet the state pension age won’t be equalised for another seven years. Young boys are educationally disadvantaged compared with girls, while paternal rights of access to children following a break-up are routinely flouted with impunity. Don’t get me started on Sheila’s wheels and women-only gyms – whether objectively justifiable or not, can you imagine men getting away with either?

Wow, I've never heard any politician besides Philip Davies speak out against this feminist nonsense. How have I never heard of Raab before?

He clearly has the feminists and Leftists worried enough that they went muckraking to try to find something to bring him down with. But it seems the best they could do was to report what he eats for lunch.
