The response to Davina McCall's defense of men is disheartening

This response in particular struck me as heartless:

Journalist Frances Ryan added: ‘Two women in the U.K. are murdered every week. Some of us will be raped and beaten every hour of every day. Any man whose “mental health” is damaged by women articulating their right to live without fear is a red flag. And any woman using her platform to downplay it is a tragedy.’

Others wrote that while male mental health is important, it cannot be at the expense of educating men on how to dismantle the culture of fear, violence and harassment against women.

It is uplifting to hear a prominent woman speak out about the reaction to events, but it's not surprising that so few would, whenever they end up getting chastised for making perfectly reasonable points.

So like 100 odd women per year, out of a population of like 30 million women and hundreds of thousands of deaths, does that not qualify as "extremely rare"? Not to mention most of those will have been killed by someone they are close to, as opposed to a random person, so random murder would be much rarer yet.

I remember that chick on MTV, she is a celebrity who doesn't hate men. I think she's earned a gentleman boner. The English media has been evil and hateful since forever.

Does anyone know where I can find legitimate statistics online where it shows that men are murdered more than women because I’m not buying this whole “women are murdered” more than men rhetoric.
