Why didn't she resign when Obama was in office? Like she must have been 70ish at the time in 08 already. Also for a non-american how important is her position? Seems to me her death will only turn up the heat this election circle.

She worked towards gender equality, inspiring the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, removing some barriers to suing employers for pay discrimination like statute of limitations.

Among other things, Ginsburg made the government must prove an "exceedingly persuasive justification" to use sex as a classification.

I just poured one out in her honor. Even in those many places where I disagreed with her, I always admired her; I admired her for her extreme intellect and even more so for her honesty.

We could do with some more of that today.

she hated men but i hope god forgives her, we need to put restrictive laws in law school that ban female overrepresentation, no law school will permitted to have anything outside gender parity.
