The same applies to men pretty much. Guys can’t look too feminine, poor, dirty. People also seem to react better when I sport a hairstyle that clearly shows I have a good hairline and few graying spots. So, nothing new here.

I'm not here to say that looks don't matter (I won't speak my opinion on this one) but going around complaining about it just makes people dislike you even more. Rather than complaining, if you really want to do something about it and it bothers you so much then do something about it.

Conventional Beauty =/= Femininity

I don't know what Femininity really means but what I know is that It's not the same thing as being conventionally attractive. People like to see asthetically pleasing things. And there where you live there is probably a specfifc way how women usually look like. The way how you are raised or how you percived people in your childhood does shape your view of the world. I would be lying if I said that I wasn't a bit surprised after looking at your picture.

You made a conscious effort to make yourself look less appealing to the opposite sex. Why are you surprised by the resulting treatment? Am I saying it’s right? No.

This is akin to drinking a non-alcoholic beer in public and acting “happy drunk”, then getting mad that someone called the cops. You’re not technically doing anything wrong, but you’re making an effort to attract attention by exhibiting pariah-type characteristics.

I see this, and it's weird how people will automatically judge someone (men or women) if they have lots of tattoos. I fo feel society is changing slowly, but so far the people with body decorations and tattoos are Instagram models, not someone you'd expect to see every day.

People will say don't judge a book by its cover but it seems like that's all people do.

Nah not true.

I dress relatively femine I.e always wear dresses,have long hair & little to no makeup (save for concerts)

But I wear docs n chokers with patches on my jackets & piercings. I’m not treated worse per say because my friends for the most part are punks too. But society as a whole(older ppl and straights) does treat me somewhat unfriendlier due to not looking like “the norm”.

I’m not trying to attract ppl who aren’t part of my subculture. I’m not particularly feminine per say, I’m loud, rowdy & drink a lot (everything this sub hates 😜) but I never have problems making friends or finding ppl attracted to me.

I don’t particularly care for others opinions on my looks or attitude. It goes with age, the older you get the less you give a fuck. Im 22 by the way.

What you're describing isn't "femininity", it's style, and it's very, very cultural--people who rock a style very much like yours are considered very normal out by me, depending on the neighborhood. You said it yourself; you live somewhere very conservative. I'm sorry people are being dicks about it to you, though.
