Let me sort of start out with my own story,

I was in middle school when the internet started to go after SJWs and feminism. YouTube videos about misandry were being posted left and right, and I initially believed that liberals were plotting to get revenge on men for oppression, even if they didn’t oppress anyone.

I identified with MGTOW/the GOP at the time because I thought they actually cared about the men’s issues they spoke about. They didn’t.

The GOP has had plenty of time to get rid of the draft, set up male abuse centers, reform education to work for both boys and girls, or establish programs to help alleviate homelessness.

None of this happened, and I realized they saw men just as disposable as the libs I hated did.

Eventually, I read “Listen Liberal” by Thomas Frank and “The War on Normal People” By Andrew Yang. Sure, Yang may not be everyone’s cup of tea here, but he was part of helping me get away from the right.

What I came to care the most about is ending male disposability: what kind of monster can look at half the population and see their lives as simply expendable, like a walking tool?

What about the rest of you? I know my experience isn’t universal, but I think that the left can win over a lot of troubled men if they play their cards right.

Cartoon animals telling me to vote republican on YouTube has done fuck-all to help men, and the left can easily prove those youtubers wrong through their actions.
