This is what male disposability is all about. Making sure that the man takes the fall in all circumstances. I remember once whena feminist friend was going on a tirade about the non-existence of the Friendzone, and I explained exactly how women dangle the implication of affection and caring to exploit men for labor and resources. Her response was immediate victim-blaming "Yeah, I have so much sympathy for guys who let women do that to them."

At no point did she dispute that it was exploitation. She just wanted to make apparent the fact that "they were asking for it."

I'm not her friend anymore.

I agree that there are ways for sex work to be unethical and exploitative, and we are way, way less likely to talk about it if the victim is a man.

What happens when he's tricked into signing a legally binding contract that entitles her to half or more of his current and future wealth and income?

Or is tricked into paying for dates, bills, etc, either as a willing or forced sugar daddy?

I'm being a bit facetious but I think men in general ought to have a little more protection from being exploited in this manner.

We need to add financial abuse as a category of domestic violence along side physical, emotional, and legal abuse.

This cam girl needs to be able to be prosecuted under those types of laws.

I see a similar issue in Clementine Ford doxxing a 14 year old boy quite recently. It is true that he messaged her and said she was horrible and ended it with saying "put a gun in your mouth."

So what the boy did WAS absolutely inappropriate. But Clementine Ford took it upon herself to dox the boy. I'm not sure how I feel about it. Obviously if the boy was older then I would be more inclined to see that as a fair response.

But Clementine has made a career out of being a feminist edgelord. This boy has seen her call to "kill all men." His response was, "put a gun in your mouth." So she doxxed him. He's fourteen years old.

There is an obvious power imbalance here. And this is where feminism breaks down. Women having power over men, (or in this case boys,) is something I never see feminists talk about. Which is also why I tend to be nervous about feminist leaders. I have no problem with women leaders. In fact, I liked Warren until the #believewomen issue between her and Bernie. I don't see any ounce of mercy in mainstream feminism. In fact, it tends to be quite cruel.

I think this can be better discussed as a larger discussion of microtransactions and requesting gifts online from vulnerable whales. There are similar stories of drunk people getting financially decimated from microtransactions in video games, or children causing lawsuits between a game and parents. The difference of course is that the exploitation in this case is more measured and deliberate.
