It's not just losing your job. We humans are very social animals. The idea that everyone you know, even people that you don't know, believe that you are a rapist, a moral monster, is horrifying. There is an empathy gap in that so many women think it is merely about losing your job or not. It goes so much deeper. Even your family will look at you with doubt.

If you are raped, nobody questions your worth. Nobody believes your intrinsic value has been lessened. With a false rape accusation, everyone doubts your worth. Your are seen as grotesque. Irredeemable. It is very difficult to even defend yourself or stand up for yourself once accused because after all, who would believe the word of a rapist.

The stigma is gendered. Much like slutshaming was gendered for the last 100 years. It was easy for men to turn a blind eye to the real world effects of slutshaming. Now rapeshaming is much much worse. One accusation, and everytime you walk down an aisle in the grocery store, even ten years later, you wonder if the people whispering are talking about how much of a monster you are.

In between undoing that patriarchy his daughters, wife, mother, sisters, etc.. too may suffer multiple ways in society. Wonder whether she will 'pay' for that suffering with her underwhelming emotional labor.

Although this is a good post, the title does not say enough about its subject. This forces people to click and read before they can decide whether they are interested. It also makes searching impossible.

If everyone did this, the subreddit would become unusable. Moreover, it means that your post will fail to reach some readers because they won't know what it's about.

So please don't do it in future. Take the time to describe your link, and save the time of hundreds of other people.

When making a title, it's best to assume the reader doesn't know what you're talking about - but don't go overboard with every detail. Then check if there are any words you can cut out without losing any important information.
