I loathe the whole “Men are more likely to inflict damage on Women” things, as it simultaneously perpetuates the notion that an abusive woman can get away with physical abuse, as society perceives the woman as less likely to do that.

I remember Locke talking about the equality of all men, but he used guns to talk about it. You can be faster than a fellow, or stronger, or whatever. But a gun is a gun. We’re all equal when it comes to how bullet-proof we are. A woman can just as easily pick up a weapon to conduct abuse as a man would.
