Height in a man is undoubtedly considered an attractive trait.

However I wouldn't give memes such as this much credence. I've seen the same but instead it was "Is he hot or is he just wearing Carhartt?"

I honestly think it's more of a numbers thing than anything. I'm 5' 11" and was constantly rejected online for not being Six feet tall, but in real life I'm constantly referred to as "tall" by women I interact with including my girlfriend. There's something about seeing that perfect height in writing, but it doesn't matter in real life. It's kinda like wanting premium tickets to a ball game or a concert that's rows 1-10 but have to settle for tickets in rows 11-20 and realizing once you get there that those seats are still great seats.

I don't know. My experience with tall guys tends to just be annoying: kissing and cuddling are difficult, constant adjusting of seats and car seats, etc. I think the number "6 foot" just sounds impressive, but most women don't actually want that (just look at all of those videos of women guessing a man's height, and just guessing that he's 6 foot if he is in general taller than her).

Also, if you have a tall guy, he's less likely to be sensitive about his height, and therefore will come off more confident.

There's no need to say "must be handsome" because they can see what you look like. They can't see how tall you are. I wouldn't say it's the ultimate physical trait, shit there was a 6'3 virgin in his late 20s in here.

I look at height like having a top of the line fishing pole. You have an advantage over the person using a stick with a string attached but if you don't know how to use it then you're not gonna catch anything.

I think that height for women is like large breasts for men. Women are perfectly capable of being attracted to men just slightly taller than them if he has other good qualities, but there is a strong preference for height, just as men can be attracted to women with smaller chests if she is attractive in other ways, but they often prefer a larger breast size.

Anecdotally, I have heard of quite a few women confiding that they will overlook toxicity in men so long they are tall. Being tall is a huge halo, well done if you won the genetic lottery

For me as a tall man I prefer short girls. I could date pretty much any women height wise but the short ones just are a lot more attractive to me. Short and cute is my thing

If he is just tall and nothing else, he won't be attractive to me. The other way round, if he is attractive it's sufficient that he is only slightly taller than me. Too much of a height difference is inconvenient (think of spontanous kissing, whispering in the ear...)
