I'm in a very tricky position and it aggravates me. I'm 18 and study software engineering. To save money, I decided to live with my parents in a super small town so that I could attend the local college there and do my degree there. This saves me a stupid amount of money and due to this, I've been able to buy a car and many other luxuries.

This is the part that gets to me. Due to the fact that I am able to do my entire university course in this town, I will never really have the "student life" that the majority of people have. I will never live in student halls or attend university parties with easy girls. Perhaps the most painful one is that I am really left behind in the social circle aspect.

I wasn't always as socially savvy as I am now. My friend group back then were just like me but one of my friends has moved into student halls and now has a proper social circle filled with girls and guys whilst I barely have 3 friends in this small town. He is actually meeting new people and gaining connections then afterwards he will go into a business career where there are a mix of attractive women.

I on the other hand will go into a career of software engineering and from what I have heard, there are next to no women in these jobs.

So how at all will I even go about meeting women?

Any help is appreciated.
