Hello all Just looking for some thoughts. We will still have one kid under 18- she will live with her mom.

I would like to live within a 1 hour radius of where they live. First, they are going to live in the furthest part away from a large metro area. While I’m not looking to date I would prefer to live closer to the city.

We all know there is usually single people in that part (urban/city) of the metro area. However, I assuming the majority will be young, like in their 20’s. I guess the question is if your were to choose given wanting to be around singles of older people would it make sense to live closer to the city? Or would the suburbs still be better for that demographic? Like I said I have no interest in dating but would like to become friends with people that are single/maybe of the same phase of life. Any thoughts? Thanks
