I want to thank you for showing your true colors in the last month. I feel grateful you revealed your true self before our marriage could extend to a period where alimony would be relevant.

I also want to thank you for providing me an opportunity to endure one of the greatest struggles of my 35 years in existence. Without this struggle, I wouldn’t have been able to dig deep from within, face destructive thoughts, and pick myself up from the bootstraps. The struggle, pain and misery allowed me to see who is really there for me and pulled me closer to my true friends and family. This hell I’ve endured allowed me to face my fears, and admit my faults. It’s pushed me to change who I am a person for the better.

Even though we are going separate ways, I do thank you for helping me bring a beautiful daughter into this world. Her laugh, smile, and watching her grow has brought more happiness than I could’ve imagined.
