If you grew up eating non-american food when you start eating American food the first thing you notice is everything's sweet and if you talk to an American and you give them a piece of candy or a piece of pastry from a different country they say it's not sweet even though it's the sweetest thing you've ever eaten before. Americans are eating sugar with everything.

Every meal has meat in it if you talk to an American almost every other meal has cheese in it every drink is a sugary drink.

Corps are extra greedy here and will put anything in food to make it addictive so people buy more, even if it's harmful garbage. Cities are extremely car-centric. There are some walkable cities in the North/East with subways, but it's not the norm. America also doesn't have good medical care for its citizens. Binge eating or emotional eating patterns go undiagnosed. Many obese people don't have doctors to closely guide them in weight loss.

It’s all the extra awful shit American food companies add. Top one being high fructose corn syrup.

I saw a vid recently on how your loaves of bread from the supermarket last a month vs. in Europe, ours last around a before going mouldy. Thats all down the the ultra high processing and artificial additives- all of which have recently been linked to cancer, diabetes etc.
