The following is a letter written by Catherine of Aragon sent to Henry VIII:
My most dear lord, king and husband,The hour of my death now drawing on, the tender love I owe you forceth me, my case being such, to commend myself to you, and to put you in remembrance with a few words of the health and safeguard of your soul which you ought to prefer before all worldly matters, and before the care and pampering of your body, for the which you have cast me into many calamities and yourself into many troubles. For my part, I pardon you everything, and I wish to devoutly pray God that He will pardon you also. For the rest, I commend unto you our daughter Mary, beseeching you to be a good father unto her, as I have heretofore desired. I entreat you also, on behalf of my maids, to give them marriage portions, which is not much, they being but three. For all my other servants I solicit the wages due them, and a year more, lest they be unprovided for. Lastly, I make this vow, that mine eyes desire you above all things.Katharine the Quene.
A woman wrote this letter, full of love, to Henry VIII. The same Henry VIII who annuled his marriage to Catherine of Aragon (the one who wrote the damn letter) in order to marry Anne Boleyn. The same Henry VIII who executed Anne Boleyn, baseleslly accusing her of adultery and treason. The same Henry VIII who then went onto execute his fifth wife for the same reason as Anne Boleyn. The same Henry VIII who constantly warmongered. He did an endless number of awful things, I could be hear all day listing it all. Yet Catherine of Aragon told him such lovely things in the moments near her death. Yet people on this sub will never even be considered as romantic partners, let alone have such sweet words spoken to them.
But it make sense, right? It's all because Henry VIII has such a "positive attitude" and all of us don't.
It was Adolf Hitler's "positive attitude" that allowed him to marry Eva Braun and have an endless amount of friends, allies, and followers. Even to this day, certain disgusting sub-sets of people still idolize him. It's all because of his "positive attitude", of course.
It was Joseph Stalin's "positive attitude" that allowed him to marry Ekaterina Scandze, and Nadezheda Alliuyeva, and many other women. It was his "positive attitude" that allowed him to have an abundance of friends,. Montefiore said that when Stalin was young he was rarely seen without a girlfriend. And that's because he's such a nice guy, right?
The idea that we're lonely because we're bad people is idiotic. Unless you want to admit that the endless amounts of scum in the world who are in loving relationships are good, then we have another problem.
It reminds me of a quote from Frankenstein:
"Accursed creator! Why did you form a monster so hideous that even you turned from me in disgust? God, in pity, made man beautiful and alluring, after his own image; but my form is a filthy type of yours, more horrid even from the very resemblance. Satan had his companions, fellow devils, to admire and encourage him, but I am solitary and abhorred.”
Even evil people find love and companionship. Satan was a fallen angel. So he was probably beautiful and powerful, which allowed him to gain followers and companions despite being the embodiment of evil, contrasting Frankenstein who initially had a good heart, but was corrupted by the ill treatment he recieved from humanity just because he looked ugly. Which is the same in real life. In real life whether you're liked or not is determined by the possession of morally neutral traits, morality has nothing to do with it.
Being ugly isn't a moral failing. Being short isn't a moral failing. Being socially anxious isn't a moral failing. Being socially awkward isn't a moral failing. Having low self esteem isn't a moral failing. Being beautiful isn't a moral success. Being tall isn't a moral success. Being socially confident isn't a moral success. Being charismatic isn't a moral success. Having high self esteem isn't a moral success. All of those traits are morally neutral. Committing genocide is a moral failing, but Eva Braun still loved Hitler because he was probably moderately attractive, taller than her, socially confident, and charismatic.
There's even evidence that being morally flawed correlates with financial and sexual success:
- Psychopathic men are more attractive to women
- Misogynistic men have more sexual experience
- CEOs and Executives are three times more likely to possess psychopathic traits.
At what point can we admit that loneliness isn't a sign that you're a bad person? At what point can we stop using "loner" as an insult? People should be judged according to the content of their character. But it's clear that whether you're loved or not has nothing to do with it. So why judge people according to that?
It makes sense why people do it, obviously. We're evil beastly creatures that use any excuse we can to indulge in the pleasure of hurting other people which is what all the normies and bluepillers come on this sub and other subs like it to do. But I at the very least wished that we were self aware. Don't pretend that you're "giving tough love" when you say that we're lonely because we're "whiny pieces of shit". At least acknowledge that you're just a sadistic bastard when you do it.
