My LTR went to the doc today for a rash and the doc thinks it's very likely she has genital herpes. Blood work will confirm in a couple days.

I have unprotected sex with her so I most likely have it and am unsure whether I gave it to her. I got tested right before having any unprotected sex with her and my results were negative (I was clean) but I have had protected sex with girls rumored to have had it before my LTR. The most likely scenario is that the results were a false negative. She got tested a few months before we met and was clean.

I have a doc appointment in a couple days to get checked.

She's pretty emotional about it as she had a fear of getting any sort of STI. I told her I would see her after work today even though I had plans to hit the gym. But other than being cool, calm, and collected, should I do anything else to handle her volatile emotional state?

Edit: thanks for the feedback some good comments mixed in.

As for why I think it's a false negative: I ran a train with a buddy on a some slut I picked up at a club 3 weeks before I got the bloodwork done.

The possibility of cheating is certainly there but it's not the only way to explain the current circumstances (so many in the anger phase). I'll have to wait and see what the results are.
