If someone is guilty of SA crime then I am all for it being investigated by the police, building a case based on evidence Ie witness/victim testimony. I do not condone accusations based on feelings which would, in many cases, be slanderous.

there is a short term gain for her in the media as it tries hard to recover after Amber Heard destroying their “ believe all women” meme but as the revamped cancel culture ramps up ( Mila Kunus, Ashton Kutchet, Spanish Socar coach, Rusell Brand), it's attention moves on pretty quick to the next case and alleged victim but the media also fawns over female comedians so it's still probably worth it for her to be the face of it and attach herself to some trendy feminisim by proxy.

The difference this version of CC is that the media wants to also punish those who it sees capitulating by refusing to immediately condemn the accused. Note Brand already has been demonitized by YouTube.

Brand has sold his soul enough to the right wing though that I'm sure they will protect him and funnel money and work his way. He even kissed Joe Rogan’s ass in his only message about this issue.

Now ,do I know he's innocent? Absolutely not. Do I know he's guilty? Not yet. Is this a coordinated smear and run where there are no charges, just accusations? That seems to be the case though it could change.

It's actually rather amazing to notice how quickly the narrative against Brand turned from "rapist" to "predator", which is a rather stark difference in the level of criminality described, when you stop to think about it. It changed on a dime, once there was just the slightest pushback against the initial story, which says something.

So another trial by misandrists begins. Brand marketed a style that was extremely popular with many women at the time. Women were the main consumers of his humor.

Times have changed, and now he will be judged by todays standards for behaviors that were considered provocative at the time, and made him famous.

If we were to turn the same unforgiving and critical lens on the public lives of many women, they would be equally guilty of similar crimes.

You’re comparing an adult working consensually as a waitress at Hooters, where adult customers consensually go, to a guy who, in his 30s, allegedly sexually assaulted a 16-year old girl. (Yes, we’re still waiting on investigation but that doesn’t make your comparison any less idiotic).
Katherine Ryan isn’t even one of Brand’s accusers. She never publicly named him. She’s not one of the 4 women that came forward.
Her being unfunny is not an argument. And it’s your opinion. She has a lot of fans.
