I stopped calling them accidents and use collisions, now. These aren't an accident. People think they're the main character in their own movie and that the rules don't apply to them. Failing to turn their low beams on, use their turn signals appropriately, rush through intersections when they know it'll turn red on them and just generally behaving like they're more important than everybody else leads to behavior that'll cause a collision - ESPECIALLY if you've got both drivers demonstrating such behavior.

I'd say an accident would be a faulty stop light suddenly turning from green to red while you're in the middle of an intersection - but even then: if the driver who "t-boned" you was paying attention and saw you were in the intersection instead of blasting through it because their light was green ... that "accident" likely wouldn't have happened.

People like this tend to behave similarly in other avenues of their life. They rarely take accountability for their actions and poor decision making skills aren't their issue - it's everybody else that has the issue.

What I don't miss: - I bought 1-2 packages of toilet paper a week. She is now 5 weeks gone. After week 3 we had so much toilet paper I didn't buy any anymore and I guess in 2-3 weeks I have to buy it again... wtf did she do with all that toilet paper?

we went shopping every saturday, with a total amount of around 200 euros a week. I was kind of nervous if we would make it cause the groceries were not cheap... already told my 2 kids, well we might have to eat a bit less and not buy any sweets or cola etc... I didn't spend more then 90 euros every week in total and I did buy sweets & cola too. The fridge is still full on the weekends and I am thinking again wtf did we buy all those years, golden patatos? I mean I was there too all those years...

So it's almost the end of the month now and I see wtf: there is still money left to live for 3 weeks more...

I already called the water works, we need less water in our neighbourhood! And I am already looking forward to the electricity bill, not having to run 2-4 washes a day will be noticable... and I wonder how to get the machine full every week... what was washed I ask myself... the kids and I do wear clean clothes every day... crazy

Also ofc I also wanted to do the same for our kids and bought us special croissants on Sunday morning... 9 Euros for 3 croissants... turned around went to the normal croissant shop and got them for 3.90 euros... nobody noticed the difference... it's kind of this small things...

Something I don't miss: my ex-wife's car was always a nasty mess. She rarely cleaned it out, so that job always fell to me. No matter how many times I cleaned it out she always found a way to get it messy again within a few days.

The worst part was that she would pick her nose and wipe the boogers on the side of the driver's seat. Any time I used her car to go somewhere, or whenever I cleaned it out for her, there was always this minefield of dried boogers on the side of her seat. Gross.

I won't miss her angrily telling unmarried people when I'm standing right there listening 'whatever you do, don't get married.' Hurt me to the core every time.

OMG, my ex has had 5 accidents since we have been married. She rear ended somebody on the way to her lawyers office for our mediation back in July. She totaled out the car she hit and the guy is claiming damages. I have no idea how that is going to play out. Her car is still waiting to go to the body shop to get fixed, I’m thinking it may end up being totaled but who knows. She has a CX-5 and claims she can’t see out of it and the screen in the dash blocks her vision (she isn’t short, 5’6”). She wants a CR-V like her mommy.
