- Commitment from men is not a scarce resource, large swathes of men are willing to commit with minimal standards: "A whopping 31 percent of adult men said they’d commit to a person they were not in love with... 21 percent said they'd commit under those same circumstances to somebody they weren't sexually attracted to" (Source)
- Men do not have casual sex but then "settle down" at later ages, young men are the demographic group that desires to commit to long-term relationships the most: "The percentage of men saying "yes" to imperfect committment was actually highest among men in their 20s, almost 40 percent of whom said they'd commit without love... Fisher, a research professor at Rutgers University, explains it this way. "We have a stereotype in this culture that it's men who are the ones who don't want to commit, who don't want to settle down, who are the scarce resources. But in fact, it's the opposite."
- Even when men have casual sex with women, they are still willing to turn those one-night stands into long-term relationships so they're not "settling" for commitment: "men were three times more likely to want to turn a one-night stand into a relationship" (Source)
- Feminists will say men lose attraction to their wives and look at other women: Men have biological adaptations to distance themselves from other women - men in committed relationships and with higher levels of oxytocin tend to avoid attractive women (Source), Men also do not lose sexual desire for their wives but the wives do the other way around (Source)
- Feminists will say men don't put in the work to make their wives happy: Men do initiate leisurely activities and share housework with their wives, whereas the wives do nothing but be less bitchy ("enacting fewer negative or antagonistic behaviors") (Source)
- Feminists will say men don't care about raising kids: Most men aspire to be fathers (Source) Men are more negatively affected by childlessness than women (Source) are more worried about not having children than women (Source) and are viewed more negatively if they're childless than childless woman (Source)
- Feminists will say men won't do housework in a marriage: Men aren't not willing to help out in childcare, they just become less attractive to women as a result: "couples where husbands do no traditionally female tasks have sex the most: 4.85 times a month. Conversely, couples where men do all the female work have sex the least: 3.3 times a month." (Source)
- Feminists say men might be abusive in a marriage: Women who experience domestic violence find aggressive men (the type to commit domestic violence) more attractive (Source)
- No woman is "excluded" from commitment or long-term relationships. Very unattractive women are more likely to be married and have higher-earning partners: "very unattractive women were significantly more likely to be married ...than unattractive women at 29, sometimes more than average-looking women, and their spouses or cohabitation partners earned significantly more than those of unattractive or average-looking women." (Source)
So why does it SEEM that many women complain about being "used for sex"? Simple, as with many issues faced by women, the answer boils down to them being "chad only".
When women are the least restricted (in countries with high economic and social development) they go for attractive men who display higher masculinity and male secondary-sex characteristics. The catch? Well we can take a look at the paper "The reality and evolutionary significance of human psychological sex differences": "In men, higher testosterone levels are associated with lower marital satisfaction (Julian& McHenry, 1989), lower investment in spouses (Gray et al.,2002), more partners (van Anders, Hamilton, & Watson 2007), and a greater interest in erotic stimuli (Daitzman &Zuckerman, 1980)"
In other words, women are attracted to men who avoid commitment the most and want to contribute to housework the least as a result of increasing economic development and autonomy to pursue chads over all else.
So what do they do instead? They continuously have casual sex with said chads, and despite the fact they tend to regret having casual sex encounters they continue doing it anyway ("we find no evidence of a mating strategy shifting effect following sexual regret") (Source)
If you try to show that you'll treat a woman right and commit/invest in her/start a family with her then you're automatically kicking in a kneejerk reaction in her that causes her to be turned off JFL
