You'll say "women prefer tall men" for example and they'll say THAT'S NOT TRUE WOMEN AREN'T A MONOLITH I KNOW A WOMAN THAT DATED SHORT GUYS (note: the "short guys" were 5'9 and she would still prefer a taller one but is still willing to deign to have sex with exceptional manlets) but they don't take into account the scarcity of these exceptions and how they prove the rule so to speak due to their rarity. All these short guys are competing for the women willing to even tolerate their presence, and there will be many leftover short men. But they never will wrestle with the obvious implications of that.

Liberal redditors love statistics and demonstrate a great understanding of them when it shows that black people on average get shot more by cops or men being the initiators of violence the overwhelming majority of the time instead of women. But then when you talk about the fate of manlets, ugly guys, and small dicked guys, backed with facts and stats? They suddenly forget their entire understanding of how basic statistics work and what "per capita" means and go back to victim blaming and anecdotes of 5'2 microdicked balding hideous janitors they knew that were totally slayers.

I've been debating with a woman today and, well, I'm a woman myself and I've also argued with the OP of "men bring nothing to the table" and generally I manage to get into debates with women pretty often, the difference is that they usually stay civil and we can find a common ground.

Having said that and to address your main point, no women are not monolith. There are common traits that you can find in most women, but you can find common traits in most men as well. We are all people, there must be some traits that are extremely common among us. Biological differences (the way your brain works, your hormonal levels, how you react to stress etc) and differences of experience, upbringing still exist and they're pronounced enough to turn people into individuals instead of just clones of each other.

Imo the women aren’t a monolith thing only appears in the real world and smaller groups where the in group bias doesn’t have as much on an impact. The larger the group, the more the in-group bias acts like a black hole sucking any differing opinions into oblivion.

Women are simply biologically wired differently because they lack the physical ability to defend themselves like a man. So their evolutionary tactic was using emotions, wordplay, and manipulation.

I’m not judging anyone btw, I’m just making an observation. This survival strategy helped humans get to where we are, so me stating the strategy isn’t misogynistic. Just needed to nip that in the bud.

Back to the main point. In a larger group, something is triggered in a women’s psyche to where they are more likely to agree with the rest of the group. It isn’t a conscious thing they control. It just sorta happens. For some women it’s more, for some it’s less. But on average women are known scientifically to have a higher in-group bias and be more prone to groupthink.

So you’re right and they’re right in a way. Regarding some personal ideas and values on a smaller scale, women aren’t a monolith. But when talking about the sisterhood as a whole, or making generalizations for the sake of discussing broader concepts and ideas, they are more likely to move in lockstep.

Again, I’m not making a value or moral judgement of women. I’m just stating an idea based on observations I’ve made and some studies I’ve read.
