I can't recommend any books but I can give my 2 cents. The best source of yourself. How hubby treats you shapes what she expects from a man. How you treat hubby teaches her how to treat a man. What you do is a better teacher than what you say.

I have girls. It can be so difficult in this world to raise them traditionally/conservatively , considering how sick society is these days. Little house in the woods and the rest of the series is very wholesome , Beatrix potter, This isn’t book related but look into educational philosophies. I really like Waldorf because I find they teach and empathize a lot of traditional &gender roles - they teach sewing, gardening cooking , woodworking, ect Start looking around in your area if there’s any Waldorf schools , even Montessori. I just found this shop’s site (Heirloom Art Co.) and they have a book section that looks pretty good. I want the Beatrix Potter set lol. Look up the Beatrix Potter ballet if you’re interested, it’s on youtube!

I loved Mouse Family Album by Pamela Sampson. Laura Ingalls Wilder, Jane Austen, LM Montgomery, CS Lewis, LM Alcott are all good. I remember the American Girl Doll books being pretty good but they may have been updated now.

Congrats on your pregnancy! Hubby and I have a 3-year old and we're going to send her to a public school, probably Roedean. We've already visited. Husband's also visited Cheltenham, but wasn't so keen on it. We both strongly feel that the best gift we can give her (or any other child) is a top-flight education.
