Might be a turn off, when there is an actual outbreak, but in general yes, as im my country 90 % of all people are carrying the virus, often without symptoms

Idk, my mom, like most people, has HSV1, so I'm not that biased against it. Either herpes would make someone less attractive to me, but not be a full stop.

I married a man who has a certain issue I thought would be a massive dealbreaker for me. So, based off that experience, had I still been single, yes, under the following conditions:

He takes care of it responsibly: takes medication, puts on gels, annual checkups, whatever is necessary for it;
He takes it seriously, doesn't downplay its contagiousness and respects my concerns about not getting it from him;
We are a great match in all other aspects.
