You’ll have to point to a school that allows female teachers to watch male students change and not vice versa. Same with moms vs dads chaperoning their children when they change.

If you’re simply talking about the social stigma, then you’re basically asking why people have opinions and feelings on the matter. Which is a pointless question.

Never in my life I had a teacher watch us in the locker room, there had to be much noise, or a fight going on, so that a teacher would get in to check.

The closest thing to this I recall is why boys have revealing swimwear and wrestling attire, but it's too much for a girl to wear spaghetti straps. Boys are bulging out and being judged by the world and girls are being told that can't wear something comfortable because it'll show off their shoulders and people will notice.

I guess you can also place this with females not feeling comfortable with male physicians or doctors, but somehow it's sexist if males are more comfortable with male care providers.

Raised by a single father, I didn't see an issue with it until I started developing boobs at 8. 🤷 But at that age, I didn't want anyone to be around while I changed because I was uncomfortable with my body.

Very late, but not long ago a memory went to my mind where when I was 5yo or so my class went to a lake and we needed to change into the swimming clothe, the girls went to a big shed alone while the boys needed to do it outside while a man (i think it was the instructor) and an old woman (a teacher) were looking over us while doing it. I feel disgusted and uncomfortable everytime I remember it and I have some trouble getting it off my head. Im going to therapy because I have been getting some memories I couldnt remember before.
