In the U.S.: Neither the left or right are supporters of equal rights for men, but I think it’s clear the left has especially supported feminism and advantages for women.

We’ve already seen Biden (left) pandering to women for support in the upcoming election and we’ve seen women’s groups endorse him.

There are a few republicans politicians that have introduced bills to treat men more fairly in some areas such as college title ix cases, but it’s never gone anywhere.

I can only speak for how things are in the US. The left is allied with feminist and other women’s groups and are anti men in their policies. There are many laws especially marriage & divorce laws which the left supports that hurt men to benefit women. They often march with hard core feminist and other groups like LGBTQ who are mostly misandrist. I’m sure it’s for political expediency but the facts and results are that the left is anti men.

The Left has been starting to realize that they are losing male support to people like Andrew Tate, since Tate at least speaks to men whereas the left has ignored men at best and vilified them at worst. The Left is apparently only just now starting to realize that this might cost them some voters, I guess they somehow didn't expect it. As a result, there's been an increase in leftists talking about how to gain back some of that male support.

The problem is that transparently self-interested motives are unlikely to earn them the support they seek. The Left doesn't actually care about men, they never have and never will. They only see men as a potential means to an end, anything they might be willing to offer men is surface-level pandering, such as lip-service about how men should be allowed to express their emotions. They want men's votes, they don't actually care about helping men, and they aren't even hiding it.

The left has nothing to offer men in any Western country. The things you mentioned like social housing and public transport can benefit men but they always disproportionally benefit women. The left will never pass anything that disproportionally benefits men, let alone something that only benefits men or something that benefits men at the expense of women. Just recently the "right wing" gov in my country has suggested taxing overtime less and the left-wing dominated media threw a fit, because this wouldn't benefit those poor women as much since women don't work as much overtime as men.

Remember this: men are at best an afterthought to leftists, at worst a sworn enemy.

In India, neither the left nor right have anything to offer to men. They both speak volumes about how women empowerment is needed all the while demeaning men. Just for example, we a a National Commission for Women here, which looks after the needs of women and provides aid to them - legal or otherwise. So some people went to the Supreme Court of India and said that we should have National Commission For Men, given that almost 75% of filed rape cases in India are fake, there is prevalent misuse of dowry, divorce and domestic abuse acts to blackmail, harass and mentally, physically, financially and emotionally abuse men by many women. Do you know what the honourable Judges said? That men do not need such commission and refused to have any sort of hearing on this.

Last time I was cheering/celebrating when Biden came into power but this time I will celebrate if Trump wins. Biden did jackshit for men and online/offline misandry is at the peak but my only concern how will the lives of LGBTQ be impacted when Trump wins it. He (including his other right wing peers) absolutely hates LGBTQ and will probably strip them off of their rights. You get the wrong idea of us leftists. We want men to live happily. Some of us aren't feminist. We believe that the problem in society is the rich oppressing the poor not the women oppressing the men.

Women and men both have problems (duh) and men's problems are more neglected than women's problems, but the right has never, and probably never will improve the life of the average man while the left has done it hundreds of times.

Remember, this is not a left or right wing thing to support. Mens tights exist on the left and right. The thing is that people who feel left out of society (that feel oppressed) tend to become more rightwing in today's society, this is not because of actual politics or ideology (which I doubt most people actually give a fuck about even if it is the basis of, statesmanship).

If I'd vote (which I'm too young to do, I'd vote the most left wing I could, this is because the left fights for human rights and equality, it's the basis of socialism.

Meanwhile liberalism and especially conservatism (the other two major ideologies) have done nothing for the working men or for men's issues.

Honestly... in the US it's tough to say. Neither major party ever touches men's rights issues and neither does any third party.

I'm supporting Nikki Haley at the moment, just because

1) I feel like Trump should face consequences for literal sedition and don't want to wait for November.

And

2) Unlike every other woman that has run for President I can think of, she hasn't said anything (that I'm aware of) that basically boils down to just straight, unadulterated misandry. She hasn't literally insulted just under half the electorate and not even realized it because men don't complain.

She might at some point. It just hasn't happened yet.

Kinda wondering what other MRAs think of her.

In Spain since 2004 we have a different penal code for men.

Hundreds of laws to benefit women, bonus to hiring, parity in sectors were men are predominant (but only for good jobs, office, directors...), more economic aids, housing....

Just recently they approved a change in the Constitution to change the term for disabled people, and they sliped a change saying that there should be a special care if the disabled are women.

It's a constant here and the majority of the population believe it's ok because it's disguised as equality.

The left in my country (Australia) used to be union based, it used to be for the workers and workers rights. While this wasn't directly 'men's issues' it did address a few of them based on overlap.

That was a while ago now.

There's been quite a bit of feminist rhetoric coming out of the left (and everyone it feels like, but probably moreso the left.)

I'm still very much a lefty, especially when it comes to funding Medicare. But they let us down enough that I'm at least looking into small parties, and who actually does what.
