How to deal with the dream of a happy family dying?

Do you have any kids? I guess when divorce happens your family can morph into something else. You and your children. Make that your happy family. I know it won’t have the wife part but make it your own. Own it and be happy with it. That’s what I’ll do doing with my son, I will always have a connection with his mother but I don’t intend on naming her as family once the divorce is finalised. It’ll be me and him.

I had to accept and process that the dream was a lie and always was. Take a deep breath and work on living on my terms and do the best I can with what I got.

You can let time do its thing. Hard as it is to let go you have to. There is a million what if's and that will linger for a long time. You have to change the future for yourself now.
