There's a vast difference between a woman without a personality, opinions, boundaries and self-agency vs. being on edge, unnecessarily argumenative and combative 24/7.

Submissive = understanding when to 'stand up for yourself' and push back vs. when to outsource decision making & listen to someone you trust and know to be more competent in a certain area.

This is only 'disgusting' if the man preaching it is not strong & competent. The problem is, that in our current society, men are not raised to be strong & competent. Just like women are not raised to be feminine & submissive anymore.

That's how you create a society of men and women who cannot find the kind of partner they want/need and get low birth rates & lots of lonely people.

No need to see it in extremes, that's viewing it in bad faith which ensures you will never actually understand it. We all know that women have a preferences for men that take the lead. Then, what do those men should naturally have a preference to, for maximum compatibility? Answer: to someone that is willing to be led. It's not a concept that's that hard to understand.

I think there's a misunderstanding here. You say "they seem a bit misogynistic and only seem to value women when they are young and beautiful". This isn't what this sub or any of the men commenting in this sub are promoting or believe.

Your SMV can and will decrease as you age. Men do not believe that you lose value as you age. That's two different things there. Right now, I am older, I have more wrinkles, and I'm carrying ever so slightly more weight than I did when I first met my man, but he still values me despite not being young, because I respect him.

A man will value you based on how much you value him and one of many ways you can show a man that you value him, is by listening to him, playing to your womanly strengths, and allowing him to lead. That doesn't mean being a doormat, it means trusting in your life partner completely and wholly. The word 'submissive' seems to have been taken quite literally and perhaps violently here. That's not the RPW message nor is it the message that the men here in this sub are portraying.

Reality is that men, like women, do want and need to be loved. The men commenting here are helping us to learn how to achieve harmony for both sexes.

I too was resistant at first, but I often find that if I have a resistance to learning another perspective on something (whether I agree or not!), it probably resonates with me in one way or another. I wonder if the same applies to you! :)

Quick edit: There might be a few who don't have positive intentions but I find that it's very rare in this sub. The mods are pretty awesome at what they do. If anything's been left, it's almost always for the benefit of everyone here, not at all to fuel 'fetishization'.

You yourself are sexualizing us. We don’t sleep around. Most of us wait until LTR or marriage to lay with a man. We don’t believe in “equality” because the sexes aren’t equal. They are complimentary. Part of that is reverting back to traditional roles. Women didn’t have as much evolutionary emphasis on creativity or IQ because those things didn’t really assist them in reproduction like they do for men whos role was to provide resources. Women evolved with emphasis on caretaking. It was like this for so long because it worked.

It really boils down to what works for YOU and YOUR relationship. My boyfriend picked up on me being submissive before I even knew I was. I can’t say I necessarily was in past relationships but in this one, he knows HOW to lead and I don’t have to think about anything else besides being the best version of myself and supporting him in this physical world while he upholds our relationship, protects me and supports me in the spiritual world.

I won’t be disrespected and I’m not a door mat. There has to be an understanding. Of course some men will fetishize these things , and many others. Weed through the BS

I kinda understand what you’re saying and I kinda agree. I’ve gotten DM’s from so called “traditional” men from off of my activity in this subreddit and just based off of their post and comments history, they were active in numerous porn subreddits. For some men it’s definitely a fetish. If not, they seem way off for my liking.

In my opinion men who tend to be hyper focused on women submitting tend to be kinda neurotic, they don’t really make good leaders it just seems like they just want control to overcompensate for personal insecurities. I’m not saying that it’s inherently bad if a man wants a traditional help-mate but I just feel like a well adjusted masculine man would naturally inspire that trust and submission in the women in his life, he wouldn’t need to talk about it constantly especially not on Reddit of all places. It’s honestly why despite being active in this subreddit I would probably never date a “redpilled” man, just give me a kind masculine man and I’m good. Eh, but what do I know. No. After decades of loud opinionated women I understand why they want someone submissive. Also if they are Christian, Jewish, Muslim it makes even more sense. It's not that you can't have an opinion but an opinion is different than being confrontational.

As some red pill men have said, when they express their wants they get called misogynist. Wanting a young wife makes sense in terms.od biology. For most of history and older man (with resources to support a family) married a younger wife (at the height of her reproductive capability. I am 40. I know there is an entire generation of women more desirable than me.

Here the mods do a very good job removing men like this. The men that remain should comply to the rules of the sub. The men that are giving advice here, particularly the very experienced men, are giving advice on sexual strategy and what works to women who are asking for it. I don’t see them as saying all women need to be a certain way, I see them saying this would work the best to women who are asking for and seeking a particular type of relationship.

If you are getting enraged by some of the comments here, maybe take a break or maybe the community in general is not for you. Of all of subs I follow, the comments here enrage me the least because it is so heavily moderated. Also a lot of the conversation here is theoretical, we like to discuss theory, that doesn’t mean you need to internalize every piece of that into your daily life.

Speaking of post histories, I've had a look at yours. You have had to overcome some obstacles in your life, between your mom's mental illness and your dad dying when you were 13. That means you have had to push back against the world, at a young age, and that has a tendency to make anyone hard and distrustful. Also, as a teenage girl, you are higher in "disgust" than usual, which is normal - it keeps young women from forming unwise relationships.

Men tend to prefer submissive - or you can say "cooperative" if you prefer - women because we want peace. After coming home from fighting the world all day at work, your partner/husband isn't going to want to immediately lock horns with you, and, presumably, you wouldn't want this either.

As for me, I have learned what the ladies in my life want from me, and I provide it; women tend to be higher in anxiety than men are and when they have the protection and guidance of a strong man that tends to quell their anxiety and makes them feel, well, better. YMMV.

As far as men preferring young and attractive women, as Dataclysm showed, that's pretty much all of us. Just as women have to struggle with hypergamy, men in monogamous relationships have to contend with their drive to seek out sex partners external to that relationship. I didn't make the rules - I am afraid you are going to have to go argue with God/Nature/Aliens/whomever.
