You're confusing flirting with giving compliments.

Flirting is about showing her that you're better at understanding social cues than she's and that you can come on top in a playful scenario. About withstanding pressure better than she does.

And I can't explain. It is like explaining "how to walk". It is not possible to deconstruct, too many things going on at the same time.

But you learned how to walk. So you can learn to flirt. Just talk and talk and talk and talk with women. And you won't even notice how your attitude (flirting) towards them will change.

Flirting is not explicit at all, the opposite is more the case. I see it more like a tease that you could do with anyone without necessarily meaning something, so it’s up to the other person to interpret the meaning
