Been seeing this girl for the past 2 weeks. A few dates. Nothing crazy. We kissed on the last date. She's new to the city. First time living alone and has a little anxiety about strangers specifically men she might date.

We talk every day now and she told me she was getting drinks with a new friend tonight. A dude. But she was talking on the phone with me literally up until he arrived. Said she'd call me on the walk home.

Obviously she's on a date right? But why the hell would she be on the phone with me just before it? That can't be normal. I know I've never done that. Is it not actually a date? I like her a good bit but I'm not really the competing with a bunch of dudes on the Bachelorette type lol.

I know I should probably just ask her but I don't wanna come off some type of way. Haven't asked her if she's seeing other people yet either. Guess I'm trying to play it cool like it's no big deal.
