Neediness is the ultimate surrender of your power. It's a license to let other people walk all over you, manipulate you and take advantage of you. lack of sexual attraction doesn't mean less needy. an asexual person doesn't feel the need to have sex but they're still completely capable of calling or texting excessively.

Being non-needy is attractive to everyone, in romantic relationships, platonic friendships, family, business. Nobody respects a desperate lost puppy, or someone who makes themselves a cheap and over-available commodity.

I had to learn this the hard way, even as a female trying to succeed in the dating game. Neediness is universally disliked.

The key issue that is being missed here, is that you are failing to acknowledge balance. Women will not find a man devoid of sexuality or sexual interest attractive, because nothing happens without initial and sustained signs of interest. Women (and men) WANT to be desired. They just don't want to be smothered, or have someone who is over-available and 'easy' to them.

In the 90s there was a (probably) biased unfair trope of women who were happier without a man or women who didn't really want to commit but still felt romantic feelings in fantasy mode.
