A girl makes thing easy for you when they are sure that they are interested. However, if a guy does not know how to talk to women, it won't work even if a woman is very interested.
One of my ex-girlfriends was a part-time model. When we went on the first date, she was about to flake... Only after I talked to her on the phone, she made up her mind to go out with me. On that day, we had sex, and we had only met for a week. Afterwards, we lived together for a year. Was she hard? It was. But did I get her? Yes.
Another example was my first girlfriend. When we were on the first date, she didn't let me hold her hand, however, after I persisted for a couple of times, she gave in. And, voila, she became my first girlfriend. Fun fact was that she didn't go out with me until I asked her out for the third time. So you never know.
A third case of mine was me dating a super hot girl, who, by my standard, is a solid 9, and if I have the option to marry her, I will definitely take it. I remembered that when I tried to hold her hand on the first date, she was pissed off. I was stunned by that! The woman just walked to a street corner and called a taxi to leave. What a harsh lesson!
Yeah, generally speaking, "finding things" out works. However, women's signals are very important once we have reached intermediate level, because "finding things out" before having a clear clue is a sure way to give your success up to luck. When I was on the first date with my first girlfriend, although she resisted, she was smiling and laughing when I tried to escalate, and it was a subtle sign that I can keep going instead of pulling it back. Nonetheless, on that "9" girl, I probably had missed signals or context information when I tried to escalated, so that I failed.

So yeah, for beginners, definitely go ahead, get out of your brain and find things out. However, for intermediates and beyond, definitely tune into women's signals and calibrate accordingly.

That is a good point. Another girl I had dated just didn't let me hold her hand near her campus. I think a woman's orientation on her public image is a crucial factor. Nonetheless, it is always safe to just avoid escalating near her living areas or at the very beginning of a date. Well, if she had become your long-term girlfriend, that's a whole different story...

1 is false. Women are complex, they give mixed signals and their minds change.
2 is true.

When a girl likes you it's usually obvious. But not always. I had a lady friend who was always friendly but never showed romantic intrest. Well, one night there was a party and we hooked up. She told me she had always been attracted to me. Never noticed. She never even flirted with me.

And remember that they may not yet know if they are into you or not either - which is why you may get some mixed signals at first.

She knows right away. Attraction is instant

She knows right away, whether she is attracted in the current moment, but that might change with new information and new behaviour.

Keep in mind that what she wants for short term and long-term stuff are different

We may feel attraction right away, but our prefrontal cortex then kicks in and says "Wait, can I trust this feeling?" And it's totally possible to feel both attraction and wariness at the same time. And yes short and long term are different. Mixed signals happen when the person isn't sure what they currently want. If you like them and want to try and attract them, then you would still have more work to do.

I don’t think it’s as black and white as that though. I’ve been to a few house parties and there always seem to be women who totally ignored me. Naturally I wouldn’t approach. When I’ve left they’ve always asked my friend if I’m gay because I didn’t go up and flirt with them. I like Women don’t get me wrong but they can be weird as fuck sometimes.
