I go on quite a bit of online dating app dates (usually 3 to 4 times a week when I'm actively dating). Almost always when asked the girls whom I'm talking to will give me their number when setting up a date.

Very rarely I'll get a response from a girl that she doesn't give her number out until after the date or until they've gotten to know me better. On one hand, I can empathize as I'm a random guy she hasn't met yet but it also seems to allude to her having low interest in me.

So far, with all the girls who I've gone out with who didn't give me their number beforehand, the dates go pretty mediocre right from the start with not much interest on her part. Has anyone had success (i.e pulling a girl or seeing her on a second date) from meeting up with a girl who hadn't given you their number on an online dating app??

If I was younger I'd probably just go for it just because I had nothing else to do and want to maximize my success but as I've gotten older and gone on way more dates, I'm wondering whether these types of girls are even worth the effort.
