My opinion is that there comes a point where going out with other guys just holds you back, and you’re better off going out on your own. In this case, the only thing you can do is swing the conversation into something else and start building the vibe yourself, and if your friends fuck that up, ditch them and go find girls yourself for the rest of the night.

So I wanted to tease her about spilling the drink on me when my buddies approached her and started APOLOGIZING TO HER.

I was like "wtf why tf would you apologize to her if she spilled a drink on me" and I immediately turned around and moved from there.

I don't know if I am being too dramatic or my friends are pure incels, and now I regret not trying to connect with that girl.

Let's break this down:

She spilled a drink on you
There was a segue there to interact with her, although it was a club so if you were thinking to rely on talking to open this girl, that could have been tricky depending on how loud the music was where you were at that moment.
Your friends were certainly cringe. It shows lack of spine for them to be apologizing for HER spilling a drink on you. But calling them incel is maybe taking it too far.
On the other hand, nothing stopped you from doing your thing. You could have ignored them and did your thing. Like, "I don't know what's going on right now, if you thought I was thirsty, just get me a drink." Or whatever.
Instead, you went from teasing/fun to super serious and negative, then you walked off. That was the issue, not your friends.
To be honest, friends like that actually give you something to work with. I mean, if they're going to waltz in like that and be spineless, they're setting themselves up to be part of the joke.

What is your guys' opinion on this and how would you react/turn the situation in your advantage?

You turn it around in your own mindset.

Shit is going to happen and the question is, are you going to let it turn you sour, or can you make lemon juice. Can you find the humor in the situation or are you going to drag your own good time down?

Also, it can be worthwhile to take some dance classes to get super comfortable with the dance floor. Then it can be more enjoyable to go out alone.

Either way, it can be pretty fun going out alone and just chatting anyone up. Like girl or guy, just talk to people. It helps warm you up.
