Currently approaching in an Asian Country, but back when I was in Canada I was more direct than you. And I never go to bars because I am allergic to alcohol and only approach in the mall. In my lines I never say “interesting /nice dress”, I always directly point out that “ I think you are cute/ attractive “ or recently I say “ your face above the mask / your eyes and eyebrows are attractive , though I cannot see the rest of it”

It sounds a lot like how I approach women (start with sincere compliment, go further if they give a positive response). It tends to be effective. Nice work.

Not sure why you have to mention your friends. Do you feel self conscious and insecure that you are there alone? Don't signal your insecurities so early on. Just go up to a woman and compliment her on something you find attractive about her. Think about all the work she put into looking like this. Don't be the guy complimenting her shoes or aura or her eyes. If she has a nice ass, compliment her on that.

If your comfortable opening and your sets are opening well, then it’s working. Just know if you experiment with different types of openers you may find other styles that work even better.

Any words that you aren’t confident and sure if are the wrong words. Be you brother. Have peace that you are still going to have a great night regardless of the reaction and you can’t go wrong. To say this combo of words/approach is better than another for x,y or analytical reasons is to miss the point by a mile. That line of thinking can reinforce bad habits because bottom line is, many cringe my ass dude can achieve “success” if their frame, even if misguided, is stronger Than the woman’s in her time of neediness/weakness

I don't think there's a "right" or "wrong" approach. Studying game, it always seems like one guy's method contradicts another's. Something they say in game is that anything can work. Alot of it is based on if it's congruent with you, and the mood you bring.

I think saying "Let's hang out" might be a bit strong in the opener. You don't have to make the girl feel like you're not going to leave if they want you to. Maybe just delete that part.

Field testing is the ultimate test. If people are receptive to you then why not keep doing what works? Trying other things is a good idea too, just to experiment with what works.

When I go out I like to approach girls directly and tell them I think they're hot, or I like how they look, etc. This often goes well. I do this with girls who are alone, but I like to do it best in 2 or 3-sets of chicks. Mostly because I'm too scared to open girls in mixed sets. But will work on this.
