I’m not sure if this is the best subreddit to post this in, but here it goes. I was hanging around at my school campus and browsing my phone when I got approached by this girl. She said “hey” to me and said something along the lines of “I just wanted to say hi to you.” She then asked me why I was smiling. I was a bit surprised, but answered “I’m just looking at funny pictures on my phone,” which was mostly true. At that moment I noticed that there was a group of around 4 girls just a couple of feet away from her, smiling, murmuring, and looking at us. I assumed that they were her friends. She asked me some more innocuous questions like whether or not I was a senior, for example. I didn’t really want to talk to her so I said I had to go to my class, which was only partially true. As you can tell, I was highly awkward and probably came off as a fucking autist. I don’t think of myself as an attractive guy, but is it possible that this girl was actually interested in me?
