This post had to be taken down because it breaks Rule #6.
The main thing is taking care of your personal hygiene and health. Beyond that, it's subjective.

The most important thing is to get fitted clothes. It will make a big difference in your look. The more fit you are the better, but every guy will benefit from wearing properly fit clothes. If you ever wonder why Celebrities look good, this is one reason why.
You have a few options.
Try out lots of clothes to find your correct sizes. Then just buy those sizes. The downside is every brand is a little different and some clothes won’t fit as you expect. So prepare to exchange for the proper size from time to time. The cool thing is you can order online and if the retailer has a nearby location, you can exchange there.
Buy a sewing machine and learn to tailor your own clothes. There are YouTube channels dedicated to this. This is what I did. It’s actually a craft and not hard to do.
Find a local tailor and have them make alterations for you. So, instead of doing it yourself you pay them.
Material and design does play a role, but once you know your correct fit you can experiment with styles you like. But, most guys can improve their look significantly with properly fit clothes.

Tailor game

So if I'm small teetering on medium then buy small?
[–]Chicagoj1563 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I think you have to experiment with your sizes. Go to target or any store where you can buy inexpensive clothes. Buy a handful of cheap $10 shirts of various sizes you think should fit. Take a good look in the mirror at which ones fit the best. Then just return the rest or exchange for the sizes that fit you.
It takes a little experimentation but once you know your sizes you can generally buy that size from then on. Look for symmetry of your body. Clothes that enhance your look. Not too loose but not too tight either. Most guys wear oversized clothes which ruins their look.

Lets clarify. Fashion can mean what you wear or it can mean brand obsession or it can mean chasing styles.
What you wear matters because if you look like shit it affects how people perceive you.
Buying clothes for the brand name alone is silly. It's not going to make up for terrible game.
Chasing every new style because you think it will make you attractive or popular is silly. Cutting edge fashion is something most people aren't that interested in. It won't make up for terrible game.
r/malefashionadvice is generally where people go. It's a bit of a trend chaser's sub, but the sidebar wiki can help.
I recommend taking note of your own measurements and then donating the stuff from your wardrobe that doesn't fit before buying a new heap of clothes.

Remember also, it’s not all about brand, its how you carry yourself.

I think it definitely plays a role. I mean, if you are super handsome, it doesn't matter. You can wear a garbage refuse sack and still look good and girls will find a way to tell themselves it's fashionable lol
But most guys don't have that luxury, and looking fashionable can maybe add another 1/2 point to your looks. But it can vary. It just needs to be what the cool guys in your area wear I think. In my case, it's mainly skinny jeans and cool trainers or chelsea boots with oversized Tshirts adn some tattoos and stuff.

i think not the current style, i think if you find YOUR Stile it will support your game pretty much, you know the guys who wear something and you say OK, that fits them SPOT ON, thats what you should look for

It depends.
If she's a good catch, dress with polos & Henleys (though bowling shirts are fine), be sure the colors match your eyes, wear belts, brush your hair, wear a watch, wear brown or black shoes, a nice jacket or coat when it's winter, etc. - the right mix of casual, formal, & flat out swaggerific.
If she's a bad catch, don’t put any thought into it at all. Just try to look as unfeminine as possible. Or dress like. Beavis & Butt-Head. For bonus points, be sure to bitch about guys who dress well & call them "douches" or "fags" just because they dress like grownups. That way you'll undermine the social proof of other guys so you'll seem like the only manly man in her eyes.
That's why I dress a bit on the nice side on a regular basis, & why I never I tear down guys who dress well as well - there are good partners & there are bad partners, & we all know I don't want the bad ones.

I am trying to become a minimalist, do you think women will lose attraction?
[–]DiabolousAvocado 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Depends; what is your idea of minimalism?
[–]Turnhate2greatness 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Wearing neutral colors that will guarantee great versatility, having enough of everything to be ready for a formal or informal dates, parties, meetings, etc.

The Perfect Minimalist Wardrobe
This is the website I was looking at to give me an idea of minimalist fashion.

Oh, that actually looks good!
That being said, I’m getting the impression that your obsession with perfect minimalism is a bit rigid & solely designed to impress women. You can’t do that, because revolving your entire style around your impressing women is not only unattractive to her, but it’s also very bad for your self-esteem. You should shoot for minimalism in most ways most of the time, but have a slight dash of variety every once in a while, like a nice dark coat or a nice red scarf on occasion during winter.
But yes, the minimalist wardrobe is very mature, so do that most of the time.

It’s all about style. If you can make cheap bargain brand clothes look good you are considered stylish!

I am trying to become a minimalist, do you I will lose a lot of women from being one?

Fashion is important. You don’t need to be a brand whore but you need to look good. Well fitted clothes are ridiculously important.
If you want style tips, walk around and look at well dressed men. Go try on everything you can in stores, even if it’s not typically you. Buy one new type of item and get comfortable with it. Find what you like and stick to it.
I was never a polo, or casual collared shirt over t-shirt type of person. Now I have quite a few. Chinos too.
Do you think becoming a minimalist will drop the attraction from many women?
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I prefer fitted T-shirt like Henleys, scoop neck, printed pattern or plan instead of loose T-shirts with quotes on the front Wear fitted jeans, only slightly torn if you want Fit is more important
[–]thelambofdeth 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It doesn't matter at all. Just don't be a slob and wear clothes that fit. Beyond that is moot. I'm legitimately into high fashion and I dress extremely well and most of the time women don't even notice or care and I get hit on by gay guys, fml.

It matters a lot, especially with higher-end women. The most important thing is to know the styles the girl you are targeting is into. If you look like her Mr. Right, then she is more likely to treat you that way. You will still need verbal game, but style can open doors.
[–]tredollasign 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I just chatted you
[–]Moderatorrecyclablebanthas 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Should you learn to be a master at fashion? Or is it not that necessary? If it does matter, then where does a person read or start when trying to learn about fashion?
Things like this are often misunderstood because people want to frame it as a black or white question. Does it matter or not?
This is the wrong question.
It matters but it's not worth fussing about for "seduction."
Just find your style that YOU like. Or if you want to, consider what kind of people you want in your life if you want to change your style.
But you choose your style ultimately for you. If one chooses their style for girls rather than for themselves, they can unintentionally come off as try-hard.
Does fashion matter? In the sense that everyone has their own personal taste, sure. But this is the kind of thing you need to decide for yourself and there isn't some perfect or ideal answer that will magically get someone every girl.
