On to the next one if she's not interested. Even just a whiff of a not interested vibe I talk to another woman. Why waste time? Wanting to continue to pursue is usually more pride than actual feelings. Accept that you "truly" care about her as much as she does to you, not much, you may just have a higher thirst factor.

What was the excuse?

It might be a legit reason, it might be her shooting you down. If it's the former, opt for a better time. If it's the latter, move on.

I tested this. I got a no and went up to her again a few days after and she was cold and 1 worded me. Was she having a bad day or was i annoying her? who knows
